Theo has been pulling out quite a few one-liners lately. One that Charles and I found particularly amusing happened just this weekend. We were invited to a 10-year anniversary party for some good friends, and the whole family was looking forward to it. Jack, in particular, was excited, because so many of his friends would be there. He kept getting confused, though, and calling it a 'wedding', instead of a 'party'. This mistake happened A LOT over the past week or so.
Well, on the way home from the store before going directly to the party, Jack accidentally said 'wedding' again. Theo was the reassuring brother from the back seat and piped up very quickly, 'It's a party, Jack, not a wedding. Don't worry Jack. If you keep trying, you'll get it right one of these days.'
Too funny.
