So The Crossings' elementary childrens' worker, Emily got engaged today. Our kids love Emily, and Charles and I have had the privilege of working with Emily and her fiancé Jeremy in the 20-something ministry at church. They are a great couple and we were all very excited to see them move towards marriage. When I told Jack today that Emily and Jeremy were engaged, he very confidently said, 'I am not surprised. I thought they would get married. I could tell Jeremy really liked Emily.' Out of the mouths of babes...again, little boys watching!
